The Côte de Beaune has a long and fascinating history. Wine growing here goes back to Roman times, and in the Middle Ages, the monks of citeaux and Cluny were responsible for setting up and developing numerous clos (walled vineyards) that remain famous to the day. In the early 12th century, the abbots of Cîteaux built wine cellars in Meursault and Aloxe-Corton.
The vineyards south of Dijon divide into two distinct regions, Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune – offering top caliber red wines respected worldwide. Although the local say that their white wines are the world’s greatest.

A visit in Burgundy would'nt complete without tasting Burgundy’s specialties dishes : Boeuf bourguignon (beef), oeufs en meurettes (eggs), jambon persillé (parsley ham), escargots de Bourgogne (snails), coq au vin (chiken cooked in red wine), and local cheeses that would be perfect with our wines.

The owner (and winemaker) will be happy to organize wine tasting in the winery for house guests
